On a typically crisp summer’s day in Edinburgh, Vicky and Alex, in the presence of their most valued friends and family, promised to love and to cherish each other for the rest of their lives. The two of them made a beautifully unique couple, full of laughter and joy, and I felt truly honoured to have been invited to share their day with them.
True to her character, Vicky opted against the traditional long white wedding dress, wearing instead a colourful floral gown and an intricate headpiece, made with love, that was nothing short of magnificent on her. On our walk through the streets of Edinburgh on the way to the ceremony, she looked truly radiant on her long-awaited wedding day.
Vicky and Alex’s wedding ceremony took place in the historic venue the Rowantree, on Cowgate in the centre of Edinburgh. Intimate and atmospheric, it was the ideal location for the couple’s humanist wedding ceremony. It was among the powerful and emotive words of their closest people that Vicky and Alex became husband and wife.
Here are few of my favourites from their gallery. Thank you, Vicky and Alex, for such a beautiful wedding.
